Woolmark Performance Challenge 2017-2021
I returned to work with The Woolmark Company as a consulting Project Manager in June 2017. I took up the challenge to launch a new project for them: Woolmark Performance Challenge. The competition has had many successes since the inaugural 2018 edition: partnerships with industry leaders adidas, Helly Hansen, On, and SALEWA; participation by over 4000 students from over 150 participating institutions; events in London, Munich, Shanghai, and Denver - to name a few!
NOT JUST A LABEL Origin, Passion and Beliefs 2016
NOT JUST A LABEL have been working with Fiera di Vincenza for several years on Origin Passion & Beliefs. I came on board in 2016 to support the project's move to Milano Unica. We had a successful opening day today, with 100 stunning stands (50 designers and 50 manufacturers) for MU attendees to visit.
NOT JUST A LABEL Authentic Radicalism at Maison Assouline, London
NOT JUST A LABEL held their first 'Authentic Radicalism' event in 2016 - their first move into the fashion education sphere. I worked with them on planning the event agenda, procuring speakers, and producing an event that would engage and inspire the creative professionals, and shake up this industry as a whole.
The Woolmark Company: Loom to London
A project I am particularly proud of developing for The Woolmark Company, was 'Loom to London'. This project aimed to close the gaps between the UK's manufacturing supply chain and London's emerging design talents. I pitched the original concept, managed the first two years of implementation, and reported on our success.
Restore Rangers: an NHS funded project
I have been working on this NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)-funded project with The Magna Carta School (TMCS) throughout the 2016-17 academic year. Piloting a new approach to interventions for young teens at risk of mental health and well-being challenges, we planned activities and created a monitoring and evaluation framework to collect data and measure impacts. I have reported to the NHS on a monthly basis, and we submitted our final report in June. In this TES article, TMCS's Head of Mental Heath & Well-being Clare Erasmus reflects on the initiative and our learnings.
Durrell Conservation Academy
Since 2017, I have supported social media community management and content creation for Durrell Conservation Academy - the training and education arm of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust - having previously supported them in developing a digital marketing strategy, and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for this activity.
The Woolmark Company: Naturally Inspiring Seminars
When I began working with TWC, their educational talks were ad-hoc and usually given at individual universities. Consulting with external experts I designed a more strategic approach, and launched the Naturally Inspiring seminars in 2014. Since then these seminars have run annually in several international markets, with great praise from students and tutors.
